Toaster Teapot — Green
The same two-slot toaster as the cream, in a soft celadon green. The glaze breaks lighter over the moulded edges and pools slightly in the corners, which is how you can tell it was dipped rather than sprayed.
Green is the one that people either take immediately or walk past. It reads more nineteen-fifties kitchen than the cream does, and it sits better against wood and brass than against white.
Same body, same capacity, same brass lever and dial. The toast is painted in three passes and no two slices match exactly.
Specification
- Capacity: approximately 35 fl oz
- Dimensions: approximately 8 ½ × 4 × 7 in (22 × 10 × 18 cm)
- Weight: approximately 32 oz
- Earthenware, food-safe glaze inside and out
- Lift-off lid formed by two joined slices of toast
- Hand-painted brass lever and dial
Hand wash only, in warm water with a soft cloth. No dishwasher and no long soak — the glaze is food-safe but the hand-painted detail does not enjoy detergent, and a ceramic this shape traps water in the spout. Full guidance is on Care & Materials.
