The same cast-iron range in pillar-box red, with a chrome kettle for the lid and a blue-striped towel over the rail. Red is the loudest of the three and the one that decides the shelf it sits on.

The red glaze is fired a little hotter than the navy and comes out with more gloss, so the two are not quite a matched pair if you stand them side by side — close, but the red catches more light. That is a property of the pigment, not a fault.

Same mould, same capacity, same fragile front rail. Treat the rail as a towel hanger rather than a handle.
